Haô TING is graduated in voice, acting & dance from the AICOM, Paris (International Academy of Musical Theater) in 2007. He’s a featured soloist for several Musical Theater shows. Under the direction of Pierre-Yves Duchesne, he plays Basil Hallward, the painter in June 2006 in the musical The Portrait of Dorian Gray at the Café de la Gare. In 2007 he’s part of the Festival d’Avignon as a soloist in Touwongka (Eva Prod), and following to that on the Broadway Show The Lion King as a swing singer at the Théâtre Mogador in Paris (2007-2008, Stage Entertainment).

 

In France, Haô is invited twice by Jean-Michel Fournereau at the Festival Not’enbulles in Auray, Brittany: summer 2008 for a L. Bernstein concert with soprano Noémie Legendre, and the following year to play the composer itself and his title roles (Candide, West Side Story, Mass...) on the show Best Side Stories. Years later accompanied by Josepha Martin at the piano they will sing this repertoire for a recital Welcome to New York at the Théâtre d’Auxerre in January 2015. In Switzerland, he gives a musical theater concert with soprano Floriane Iseli under the direction of Steve Muriset at the Théâtre du Passage in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. He’s a featured soloist in this same theater for a musical creation Et si on allait à l’Opéra ?, Eva Prod for whom he will be invited to give a workshop on The Lion King. He will continue to collaborate for several projects with Steve Muriset, who also wrote specially for him the role of Hans for his operetta creation Le Homard à l’américaine winter 2014/2015.

 

Rewarded at the competition Concours d’Honneur from the UPMCF (Professional Union from Masters of French Singing), he is also admitted in the Opera Studio « Il Belcanto Italiano », at the Accademia Santa Cecilia of Rome under the guidance of the renowned soprano Renata Scotto. He  premieres opera arias & duets in 2011 at the festival Les Nuits de Chéronne, France.

 

Haô Ting follows his career as a singer & singing instructor in Taipei, Taiwan. He is member of the jury for the final of the 13th Festival de la Francophonie, for the Chansons Francophones competition and a guest at the Taipei European School, French Section for the event Osons l’Opéra, workshops to discover the opera voice working with young generations.

 

Haô is actually performing in Switzerland a musical creation La Véritable Histoire des Dahus by Steve Muriset and is looking forward for his opera debut as Tybalt in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette for Le French May 2016 in Hong Kong.
